Hempstead ISD is currently using an automated system called “School Messenger” to keep our students and parents informed.
If you are a parent or primary guardian of a student at Hempstead, you may have already received several calls from this system. It is currently set up to contact the student's primary parent or guardian if a child is absent from school, in cases of emergency and to issue reminders or announcements of upcoming events.
At this time the primary numbers in our system are home phone numbers; however, we know that some parents work outside the home and would prefer to be notified on a cell phone instead. We would appreciate it if parents would contact the school office if any contact information changes.
