Beginning Monday, August 29th, the charge policy will be in effect. Students at the high school and middle school who are coded at Reduced Lunch or Paid and who have reached the charge policy limit (-$5.00) will be given an alternative meal until the balance is cleared.
Students can correct this issue by turning in a free & reduced lunch application to change lunch status, paying off their negative balance and/or simply paying cash for lunch/ala carte items.
Parents are strongly encouraged to continually monitor their child’s meal account balance. When a student’s meal account is depleted, the district will notify the parent. The student will be allowed to continue purchasing meals for up to $5.00, and the district will present the parent with a schedule of repayment for any outstanding account balance. After a $5.00 balance has been reached, an alternate meal will be served until the account balance is cleared.
Parents and/or guardian may check their student's balance or pay for lunches online by using the "Lunch Money Now" application located on the Food Services page of the district website.
