Erik Mott is currently the assistant band director of Hempstead ISD. For the past five years, he has worked in the district as the music teacher for Hempstead Elementary School while assisting the high school band during marching season. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Sam Houston State University with bassoon as his primary instrument. He is a life-long lover of music, and he strives to push his students to achieve the highest level of performance while building positive relationships and having fun.
