The Hempstead Independent School District will host Meet the Teacher Night across the district on Thursday, August 18. The event will be staggered to allow parents a chance to visit teachers at each campus.
Hempstead Early Childhood Center Pre-K (PK3 & PK4) will host parents/guardians and students from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hempstead Early Childhood Center, 524 Austin Street.
Hempstead Elementary School (Grades K-5) will host parents/guardians and students from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hempstead Elementary School, 1340 13th Street. Students, along with their parents/guardians, will have an opportunity to tour the campus, visit the classrooms and meet the teachers during the designated time.
Hempstead Middle School (Grades 6-8) will open its doors from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hempstead Middle School, 2532 9th Street. Students, along with their parents/guardians, will have an opportunity to tour the campus, visit the classrooms and meet the teachers during the designated time.
Hempstead High School (Grades 9-12) will open its doors from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hempstead High School, 801 Donoho Street. Students, along with their parents/guardians, will have an opportunity to tour the campus, visit the classrooms and meet the teachers during the designated time.
