Early voting is now open in Waller County. This two-week early voting period for the November 8 general election runs from Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, through Friday, Nov. 4, 2022.
“Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy,” Superintendent Herbert O’Neil said. “I encourage everyone in the Hempstead ISD community who is 18 and older to vote.”
Early voting hours of operation are scheduled as follows:
Oct. 24-28 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oct. 29 - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Oct. 30 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Oct. 31 - Nov. 4 - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Prairie View A&M University will be open on different days than others due to Homecoming
- PVAMU, Memorial Student Center, Prairie View, TX | OPEN NOV. 1-3 - 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
