Early Voting Locations and Times in the Hempstead ISD Community

Early voting is now open in Waller County. This two-week early voting period for the November 8 general election runs from Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, through Friday, Nov. 4, 2022. 

“Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy,” Superintendent Herbert O’Neil said. “I encourage everyone in the Hempstead ISD community who is 18 and older to vote.” 

Early voting hours of operation are scheduled as follows:

  • Oct. 24-28 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

  • Oct. 29 - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

  • Oct. 30 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

  • Oct. 31 - Nov. 4 - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Waller County R&B Annex (775 Bus 290, Hempstead, TX)
  • Waller Civic Center (3007 Waller St., Waller, TX)
  • Waller Co. Community Center (21274 FM 1098, Prairie View, TX)
  • Brookshire Convention Center (4027 5th St, Brookshire, TX)

Temporary Locations: (OPEN OCT. 26-28)

  • Waller County JP2 (27388 Field Store Rd ., Waller, TX)
  • Pattison VFD (2950 FM 529 N, Pattison, TX)
  • Katy VFW (6206 George Bush Dr, Katy, TX)

Prairie View A&M University will be open on different days than others due to Homecoming

  • PVAMU, Memorial Student Center, Prairie View, TX | OPEN NOV. 1-3 - 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
