Hempstead ISD will be hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, for individuals interested in working in various positions across the district. The event will take place at the Hempstead Elementary School Gymnasium, 1340 13th St. All guests are asked to enter on Peebles St.
The job fair is open to all individuals seeking employment in Hempstead ISD including teachers, support staff, transportation, and administrators. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the district and learn about current job openings and the application process. In addition to meeting with district representatives, attendees will also have an opportunity to apply and interview for positions during the job fair.
"We are always looking for dedicated and talented individuals to join our team," Director of HR, MaBisha Stubblefield. "The job fair is a great opportunity for prospective employees to learn more about the district and the various career opportunities available."
The District is placing an emphasis on hiring the following positions:
- SPED Teachers
- Bilingual Teachers
- Secondary Teachers and Elementary Teachers
- Substitutes
- Bus Drivers
Registration is not required, but the first 50 candidates who RSVP will receive a prize.
