January is School Board Recognition Month, a time to recognize the Hempstead ISD Board of Trustees for their dedication and commitment to the District and its students.
This year the theme for Board Month is “Leadership for Tomorrow’s Texas.” Our School Board exemplifies this theme because they guide our schools toward a brighter future with vision, dedication, and a commitment to student success.
School board members serve the community by participating in regular school board meetings, advocating for the school district, and making challenging decisions that impact the lives of all students and families.
The Hempstead ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Herbert O’Neil work together to create opportunities for student success that will prepare them to be confident learners who excel in all future endeavors.
