Hempstead High School recently opened its doors to the community, offering a behind-the-scenes look at its Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The event provided parents, local business leaders, and community members the opportunity to explore the hands-on learning experiences available to students at Hempstead ISD.
During the tours, attendees visited key program areas, including the welding shop, where students demonstrated their welding skills, and the culinary arts kitchen, where students showcased their culinary techniques. Guests also toured the agricultural science classrooms and labs, highlighting the district’s commitment to equipping students with the necessary tools to attain their maximum potential and prepare them for success in college, career, military and life by providing consistent, comprehensive, high-quality education.
