HEMPSTEAD, Texas – Hempstead ISD is excited to announce the completion of its first Bond 2024 project, the renovation of the Bobcat Stadium Track and Field. To celebrate this milestone, the district will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 648 Donoho St., Hempstead, TX 77445.
This event marks an important step in Hempstead ISD’s ongoing efforts to improve district facilities and enhance student and community opportunities. The newly renovated track and field will provide a space for student athletes, fine arts performances, and district events for years to come.
“This renovation represents more than just a new track and field; it reflects the dedication of our community to investing in the future of Hempstead ISD,” said Superintendent Herbert O’Neil. “We are grateful to the community supporters for making this possible through Bond 2024.”
