Hempstead Elementary School students recently marked the 100th day of the school year with a spectacular celebration filled with dress-up fun, a parade, and engaging classroom activities.
The students showcased their enthusiasm for learning by dressing up as imaginative representations of what they might look like at the age of 100. Other students wore t-shirts with 100 googly eyes, the number 100, and some even wore paper vests and crowns to celebrate the occasion.
Teachers, students, and staff marched together, holding handmade banners, and signs as they walked through the campus. Inside the classrooms, the 100th day was anything but ordinary. Teachers organized engaging activities centered around the number 100, sparking curiosity and critical thinking among students. From counting exercises to creating unique projects incorporating 100 items, the day was a perfect blend of learning and celebration.
