Attention all Hempstead High School students! Are you looking for an opportunity to earn some extra cash this summer while gaining valuable work experience? Hempstead ISD is currently seeking high school summer interns for a variety of positions.
The district is offering paid internships for students ages 16 and up who are currently enrolled in Hempstead High School. Students will be paid between $12 and $15 per hour depending on the position.
Positions include in-class support teaching assistants, nurse office assistants, construction, maintenance, and welding. This is a great opportunity for students to explore various career options and start building their resumes for future careers. Students will also earn 1 career prep credit towards their graduation plan.
