It is time for Hempstead High School Color Guard Tryouts! Auditions are open to all Hempstead ISD students in Grades 8-11.

Mini Camp: April 4-6 | 4-6 p.m.
Tryouts: April 6 | 4-6 p.m.
Location: Band Hall and Bobcat Den
Students will need to pick up a Color Guard Tryout Application from Ronald Walker, Director of Bands, in the Band Hall before the first day of tryouts. Completed applications can be returned anytime before the first day of tryouts. The application will be due on April 4, 2023.
Students should dress in comfortable clothes. Shorts, workout pants, or leggings are acceptable. Tops must be within the school dress code and tennis shoes must be worn.
Students will also need to bring their own water or sports drink for tryouts.
