Members of the Hempstead High School Ag Mechanics Team recently showcased their skills at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (FWSSR) Agricultural Mechanics Show, earning a red ribbon for their project.
The Welding I students, consisting of Braden Roehling, Antonio Castanon, and Owen Murray, proudly displayed their creation—a large 10-seater outdoor table swing. The trio invested approximately two weeks of hard work and creativity into perfecting their entry, showcasing not only their technical proficiency but also their teamwork and commitment.
"Every project is an opportunity to learn, to figure out problems and challenges, to invent and reinvent,” Hempstead High School CTE Welding teacher, Isaiah Madison said.
The team is already gearing up for their upcoming competition in San Angelo, Texas.
