Hempstead ISD is gearing up to host a spring job fair series, inviting those interested in teaching, substitutes, and operations staff career opportunities across the district.
The week long job fair series is scheduled for April 16-19, 2024, at the Hempstead ISD Administration Building, 1440 13th St. The District hopes to connect with high-quality candidates for roles across the district. With a commitment to academic excellence and student success, Hempstead ISD is seeking passionate individuals who are eager to make a positive impact in the lives of students. Whether candidates are seasoned educators or recent graduates looking to kickstart their careers, the job fair will highlight employment opportunities for different skill sets and interests.
Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with school administrators and district leaders who will provide valuable insights into the district's strategic priorities and available positions. There are opportunities for professionals at every stage of their careers. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to learn about the district's commitment to professional development, supportive mentorship program, and innovative teaching practices.

Wednesday, April 17 | 2 to 6 p.m. - Elementary (Early Childhood Center and Elementary School)
Thursday, April 18 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Substitutes/Operations Staff
Friday, April 19 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - OPEN
