Hempstead High School is excited to welcome incoming freshmen with a special event designed just for them. On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 10-12 PM, HHS will host Fish Camp, an informative and engaging orientation session for 9th-grade students.
Fish Camp provides a valuable opportunity for freshmen to familiarize themselves with their new school environment. During the event, students will:
Participate in a guided tour of the campus
Learn about the various academic programs, sports teams, clubs, and organizations offered at HHS
Gain a clear understanding of the school's expectations and standards
Engage in a Q&A session to address any questions or concerns
This event is not only about providing information but also about making students feel welcomed and excited about starting their high school journey. Parents are encouraged to support their children as they transition into this new chapter of their academic life.
