Hempstead ISD is proud to continue providing an online school supply list for the 2023-24 school year. Thanks to Teacher Lists, families are able to find and shop their child's supply list easily with the convenience of in-store pickup or one-click shopping from our national retailers including Target, Walmart and Office Depot. *All Hempstead ISD students in Grades 6-12 are required to use clear or mesh backpacks. Bags that do not meet this requirement will not be allowed
All 9-12th grade students are encouraged to bring the following to the first day of school:
1. Clear or Mesh Backpack
2. Notebook
3. Two #2 Pencils
High School students will be given more details about their class needs the first week of school.
