On Monday, December 18, Hempstead Elementary School, was able to donate 648 non-perishable food items to House of Help. The holiday community service project was organized by the Hempstead Elementary School PTO. The campus worked with student volunteers from Hempstead Middle School and Hempstead High School to sort and collect the items each morning as Hempstead Elementary students arrived at school.
