Congratulations are in order for the Hempstead Middle School girls track team. The athletes recently competed in Van Vleck at the middle school district track meet. The students showed up and gave it all they. The final results came down to the last race of the event for first place school between Hempstead and East Bernard.
Hempstead Middle School finished second, missing first by only 3 points. Although the season is over for the team, both athletes and their coaches are looking forward to the next season.
