Hempstead ISD annual Meet the Bobcats is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, at the Hempstead High School competition gym, 801 Donoho St. This tradition brings all Bobcat students, families, and community members together for a pep rally before school starts. Mark your calendars and get ready to join in on the fun that will set the tone for an amazing academic year. The pep rally will start at 6:30 p.m.
As students prepare to begin a new school year, Meet the Bobcats provides an excellent chance for parents and students to gather essential back-to-school information. School staff will be on hand to answer any questions and offer guidance to ensure a smooth start to the new school year.
There will be free food for all in attendance and Kona Ice will be on-site providing snowcones.
The District hopes to see a sea of green and white to showcase community spirit and pride for the Bobcats. The Bobcat Athletics fall student-athletes and coaching staff will be introduced during the event. You don’t want to miss the energetic performances by the Hempstead High School band and cheerleaders.
