Hempstead ISD is excited to welcome everyone back for Homecoming Week 2024! This week is packed with fun events, dress-up days, and school spirit. We hope you will join in on all the activities. This yearās theme is Mardi Gras!
All students, staff, community members, and Bobcat alumni are invited to join us at our annual Homecoming Parade, followed by a Community Pep Rally on Wednesday, October 2. The parade lineup begins at 5 p.m. and will kick off at 6 p.m. This year the parade grand marshal is Pastor Charles Thompkins, Jr. The parade will begin at Hempstead High School on 9th St. and then move to 11th St. North on 11th to Austin, and then West to 13th St., south to go to St. Barbe St. where the parade will end.
The fun will not end there. We hope you and your family bring your excitement to the Gazebo downtown to cheer on our teams as they prepare for football games against Thrall.
To top it all off, the community is invited to support our football teams as they face off against Thrall on Thursday and Friday nights. Letās fill the stands and show our support in our green and white.
