Hempstead Middle School sixth-grade students recently had a hands-on learning experience at BizTown, a simulated town where they explored the responsibilities of citizenship, financial literacy, and teamwork.
The students stepped into real-world roles, ranging from business owners and bank managers to elected officials. Throughout the day, they managed budgets, made business decisions, and worked collaboratively to keep their businesses running smoothly.
The trip to BizTown was an exciting opportunity for students to apply what theyāve learned in the classroom while building confidence and leadership skills that will serve them in the future.
