The Hempstead High School Color Guard competed in the Marching Auxiliaries & Dance (MA) state competition on Saturday, February 25, at Klein Oak High School. They participated in the Color Guard Ensemble Category and received a Division 1 rating and a 1st place trophy. This qualifies the team to compete at the MA Nationals at the University of Texas – Arlington, March 24-26 2023.
Congratulations are in order for the Hempstead High School Theatre Company. On Thursday, March 2, the theatre students competed at the UIL OAP 24AAA contest at Bay City High School. The play advanced and students will compete at the Bi-District contest on Friday, March 10.
